Say NO to Irresponsible Sex-Ed Car Rally!

When: Saturday, May 14 @10:00am
Route: From Holy Virgin and Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral (455 Ferrier St, Markham, ON) via DVP, Bloor St., Yonge St., to 2900 Steeles Ave. E.

Car Rally Route:
  • START: Holy Virgin and Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, 455 Ferrier St, Markham, ON
  • Heading West to 404 South Bound
  • 404 Exit Bayview/Bloor
  • Turn right onto Bloor St. and heading WEST
  • Turn right onto Yonge St. and heading NORTH
  • Turn right onto Steeles Ave. E. and heading EAST
  • END: Sears Home Store, 2900 Steeles Ave. E

For every car please install at least TWO car flags, four is preferred.

Rules: Safe, Fun and Team-up

All car/driver must understand and agree:
1. Obey law during the whole event. Driver take full responsibility for any accident and legal issues.
2. Follow instruction and arrangement during whole event.
3. Organizer/Team Lead has right to refuse any car/driver, any time during event, for any reasonable cause.

Rules:

Each driver and car:
1. Must have at least 2 flags (4 is best), Canada car flag is acceptable.
2. Arrival collecting/start point on time, must sign “check in” sheet.
3. Must have full tank of gas, cell phone, route map, communication sheet, GPS (option).
4. Valid driver license/insurance. Drive safe, it’s driver’s own responsible during whole event.

Rally team (communication, team work):
1. 10 cars/team, with 2 lead (front car and end car).
2. Each lead car and end car must at least have 2 person (1 driver, 1 navigator).
3. Team member follow instruction, and your team lead.

Process (Safety, Safety, and Safety):
1. Driver sign in, been arranged to a team (your team lead). Each team fill com. sheet.
2. Team lead have 5 min meeting with team members, to check safety, route and com sheet.
3. Rally start by #1 team. Other team follow...., Team lead responsible for your own team.
4. All cars maintain safe distance, obey law, follow your lead car, end-to-end.
What-Ifs:
1. If you lost, No rush, No panic, park your car safely, call your team lead (team communication sheet).
2. If you can’t catch up/find your team, return and go home directly. You can always join next event.
3. If you are in any risk, Call 911 immediately.
